Let Go, Let Art…
During these unprecedented times many children and families have been displaced or forced to shelter in place in unsafe spaces or no home at all. Our hearts are with everyone directly effected, and it is our goal to help as many children as possible - but we can not do it without the help of our community.
We have partnered with S.P.Y. (Safe Place for Youth) and Children’s Law Center of California to assist with the hundreds of families they are servicing. As many of the kids were pulled from school so abruptly, they are now without proper creative and school supplies as well as essential needs ahead of the upcoming school year. We have offered to create and donate art kits to each organization to be distributed to the foster homes, shelters and those in need.
We will be hosting our first Plant Your Seed “Drive-Thru/Drop-Off” Fundraiser at the Brookside Park at RoseBowl from 11-2pm on Saturday August 15th, 2020. For every donation given that is accompanied by a child, will receive a terracotta pot, plant and paint for them to "plant their seed" for the upcoming school year. You can find a socially distanced area in the grass and join us or you can take it home with you.
We will have volunteers in place for curb-side pick up donations, to ensure safe drop-offs.
